About the Publication

Glandero Quarterly is an independent editorial record examining the relationship between sleep architecture, energy balance, and gradual body composition. The publication draws on field observation from coaching practice and a curated archive of published sleep and nutritional behaviour research.

02  Editorial Position

Why the Quarterly Exists

The intersection of sleep quality and energy balance is one of the most consistently documented patterns in the nutritional behaviour literature. Sleep restriction alters appetite-regulating circadian signals, shifts food intake timing, and measurably affects the composition of weight change over time. Despite the evidence density in this area, accessible, non-sensationalised editorial coverage remains sparse.

Glandero Quarterly was established in 2021 to address that gap. The publication applies an observational, evidence-informed editorial framework: each article begins with a documented coaching observation, situates it within the published research, and draws conclusions that are proportionate to the available evidence. Outcome claims are absent from the publication by editorial policy.

The readership includes sleep-aware individuals tracking body composition over months and years, coaches seeking to contextualise client patterns within a broader evidence base, and wellness-engaged readers who prefer long-form, sourced commentary to short-form content. The Quarterly publishes three to four long-form pieces per month on a structured editorial calendar.

04  Standards

Editorial Principles

I

Observational Basis

Each article originates in a documented coaching observation: a pattern identified across multiple client check-in cycles, logged in the field observation archive, and cross-referenced against the published research before an editorial brief is commissioned. The observation drives the editorial question; the literature either supports, qualifies, or contradicts it.

II

Two-Stage Review

Glandero Quarterly operates under the following editorial principles: articles are reviewed by at least one second editor before publication, sources are cited where appropriate, corrections are noted publicly, and writers disclose any commercial relationships that could influence their selection of subject matter.

III

No Outcome Claims

The editorial position of the Quarterly is consistently observational. Articles document patterns and correlations — they do not make specific individual outcome claims. The language of the publication is deliberately calibrated to describe what the evidence indicates, not to prescribe specific results. This is an editorial standard applied to every piece without exception.

IV

Source Transparency

Content published by Glandero Quarterly is selected based on published nutritional and sleep research. Sources are independently reviewed for publication credibility and fact-checked against current sourced reading before any article is finalised. Where an article references a specific study, the publication, date, and lead author are noted within the body text.
